Meet Wendy Perry

Head Workforce Architect

After more than 30 years working with governments, businesses, industry, education providers and entrepreneurs across Australia and more than 30 countries, one thing has become increasingly clear.

The workforce challenges facing organisations are remarkably similar, regardless of where they are in the world.

Whether the conversation is about artificial intelligence, workforce capability, leadership, entrepreneurship, vocational education, industry engagement or future skills, organisations are looking for practical people who have solved real problems and can help others do the same.

That's why Workforce Architects was created - connect on LinkedIn.

Helping Practical Experts Create Greater Impact

Throughout Wendy's career, there has been a consistent focus on connecting people, industries and ideas to build stronger workforces, businesses and communities.

Projects have ranged from strategic workforce planning and workforce development to entrepreneurship, innovation, TVET and vocational education, leadership development, capability frameworks and industry engagement. Recent work has included facilitating regional capability programs across the Mekong, supporting discussions on AI workforce capability with a university in China, working with HR professionals in Laos, and partnering with organisations across Australia to strengthen workforce capability and support business growth.

While every project is different, the goal remains the same – helping people and organisations prepare for the future.

Why Workforce Architects?

One observation continues to stand out.

Many experienced professionals underestimate the value of the expertise they have built throughout their careers.

The engineer who has introduced new technology.

The learning professional who has transformed organisational capability.

The project manager who has led major change.

The entrepreneur who has built and grown successful businesses.

The HR leader who has strengthened workforce capability.

The vocational education specialist who has connected industry and learning.

They often see it as "just doing my job."

Yet those same experiences are exactly what other organisations, industries and countries are looking for.

Workforce Architects helps Practical Experts recognise that value, strengthen their professional profile and become better prepared for opportunities to speak, mentor, facilitate, advise and contribute where their expertise can make the greatest impact.
